Ehh

This is really bad for mud and ok for water. It has really bad mudding tires and a low intake. Speed is great and is a fun machine. If you are getting something for wheelies this is not it. Read Full Review

if you are having drum brake problems

By ryan dillon(Owner), May. 15, 2015

My 2006 350 Yamaha Wolverine had a problem with the back drum brake. We took it to the Yamaha shop and they fixed it, but it only worked for about one hour. They said they did ever they could. My dad and I heard that my year had a bad seal on the drum brake, and my drum brake has filled with water b... efore. We got a new seal and drained the water from the drum brake, and it works great. I've had my wolverine since 2006 and I still drive it to this day the only problem I have is the plastic on the floorboard breaks very easy from diving over logs and for it to be a sport it does off-road very well I've pulled 700's out of the mud with mine the knly thing I wish it has was gears and... a hand/foot clutch Read Full Review

Best Decision Ever

By chris gibbs(Owner), Aug. 12, 2014

I recently purchased a slightly used/new 2006 Yamaha Wolverine 350 4x2. This has not let me down yet after multiple rides. plenty of speed to get you where you need to go, cvt offers great reliability ( UNLESS you plan on being in a creek ) this is belt driven, so if it gets wet expect some slipping... for a little bit. but it goes and goes. torque is just about right, front end doesn't lift up on big hills getting on throttle, POSI traction would be nice, but welding the rear gears will do just the trick for me. I used a air/fuel gauge to set the carb up, keep 89 octane in it and clean the carb on the regular. stock air box, stock exhaust and a UNI filter and it runs great.
If you are in the market for an entry level sport/utility this is the one. Build by Yamaha standards this is quite a machine and I am glad I didn't buy a raptor, Suzuki etc. Only downfall I have found is the lack of a pull starter?
